Off Sonar 2015 is a collection of after and pre parties surrounding the pioneering Sonar Barcelona Festival, also known as the the International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art. With events ranging across rooftops, beach clubs and those from al-fresco, mountainside nightclubs to abandoned monasteries, the discerning club-goer has a smorgasbord of parties to choose from.

Sonar Barcelona 2015 will be the city’s busiest festival week of the year, and we’ve taken it upon ourselves to offer some advice. Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about Off Sonar 2015 parties and our pick of the bunch, featuring on Together Week Barcelona.

SONAR BARCELONA 2015

Now in it’s 22nd year, Sonar Barcelona is an essential event in the music & art world, celebrating acts, performances, installations and culture behind some of today’s most current electronic music and art.

Already confirmed for this years International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art taking place in Barcelona over three days in June is UK duo The Chemical Brothers alongside Jamie XX, Maya Jane Coles, Evian Christ and French techno legend Laurent Garnier. Recent additions to the lineup also include Cashmere Cat, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Daniel Avery, Ten Walls, Tourist. BARCELONA

The capital Spain’s Catalonia with a population of 1.6 million, Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage that makes the city regarded as an important and incredibly popular tourist destination. Renowned for it’s architectural beauty from the works of Antoni Gaudi and Lluís Domènech i Montaner which are now designated World Heritage Sites, Barcelona’s a sight for sore eyes. The weather in Barcelona reaches heights of 30 degrees, making it a perfect event for Together Week.

The sangrias will be flowing as we kick off Together Week Barcelona with a bang. You’ll be whisked to a secret beach party with the rest of the group to kick off the first night of Together Week. Together DJs, club partners and secret guests take you into the early hours with the best in UK house and techno.

FORM Music Showcase: Popof & Julian Jeweil

Located in downtown Barcelona, the 800 capacity venue Bloc is a favourite with Off Sonar party goers. Featuring two dancefloors and a secret room, Bloc is the meeting point on the Barcelona music scene. French electronic label FORM will be taking over the venue, with label boss Popof headlining alongside Berlin/France based techno artist Julian Jeweil.

Ellum Showcase (Day and Night) at Fact Pool Party Series

Fact Music are doubtlessly some of the most respected players in the game. Here, you can expect staples of the scene including Maceo Plex, Danny Daze alongside some more up-and-coming talent for a veritable selection of deep & tech house under the sun.

Loud & Contact Present: tINI and The Gang at ZT Hotel Villa Olimpica

A modern hotel with a contemporary feel, Villa Olimpica is located in the new technological district 22@. With a capacity of just 350, it’ll be an intimate affair with promoters Loud & Contact bringing one of Germany’s most highly acclaimed female artists in techno and house music to the city. We can’t wait for the Desolat family member to bring her gang down to BCN.

Electric Minds x Mono_cult at BeCool

For the fourth year running, London based record label Electric Minds and Leeds based event Mono_cult will be joining forces to host an immense Off Sonar party. This time joined by  Move D alongside UK based Midland, Leon Vynehall, Dolan Bergin and Matt Long.

Resident Advisor Day & Night Party at El Monasterio

Mobilee Pool Session (Day & Night)

Social Experiment with Art Department and more TBA

Art Department, in collaboration with Mexican festival BPM, Proyectual and N.º 19 are back in Barcelona with their most famous event; Social Experiment. The unstoppable project has reinforced the Canadian duo’s popularity with their glorious sets during the 10 hour day into night party.

Set in Barcelona’s most famous square, we bring you techno legend Ricardo Villalobos and friends in one of the most grand locations you are ever likely to dance the evening away in. This is Villalobos’ ONLY Barcelona date during the festival period, so make sure you’re there.

Crew Love Barcelona 2015

Wolf & Lamb and Soul Clap are back in BCN with their crew for a special new Crew Love edition to be held in the open-air Petit Auditori stage in Parc del Fòrum. Taking the dance floor by storm, Crew Love promise to take us back to the good old P-Funk days. One of the six best open-air parties according to URB Magazine.

Trust us when we say you don’t want to miss out on this one. It’s almost always the highlight of everyone’s week. The Together Week Crew set sail on the Mediterranean Seas early afternoon for two hours of sun, sea and soundsystem tearout. Sets courtesy of our extended clubbing family.
