Famous for its partially open terrace and after-hours parties that well into the next day, Space Ibiza continues to prevail as one of the world???s biggest sanctuaries for house, techno and other electronic music. Quickly becoming a revolutionary addition to the expanding group of clubs in Ibiza back in the 1980s, Space is now the current ???world???s best club??? and one of the most acclaimed.

Recently celebrating its 25th anniversary on the island, Space has continuously fought to stay at the top of its game in the face of ever-rising standards. With a capacity of 2000 in the main room La Discoteca and another 4000 spread out over the steel and glass Terraza, the partially outdoor Sunset Terrace, the upstairs Caja Roja space and the El Salon lounge, it???s easy to understand why Space is the most awarded club in the world. For the opening and closing parties, a giant dome structure is fitted in the outside carpark to increase the club???s capacity to 10,000, making these some the most anticipated moments of the season.

Capacity: 6,000 or 10,000

History

Founded in 1989 by Pepe Rosell??, Space Ibiza is the ultimate music mecca infamously known for its unadulterated daytime clubbing, open air terrace and innovative lineups. Space remains to be one of the few clubs that still has an existing open terrace after Amnesia and Privilege had to close theirs due to noise complaints.

Best known for ???We Love???Space??? flagship every Sunday since 1999 featuring forward thinking artists including Sasha, Skream, James Zabiela, Dusky, Paul Woolford, Disclosure and more. Once established for its 22 hour raves that made you lose all sense of morality, Ibiza licensing laws of recent years have seen these monster sessions a thing of the past. In 2015, We Love moved to Sankeys after 17 years at Space.
